I have a friend who has a RE company in Costa Rica, although he lives in WPB, FL with his wife he travels there frequently, who recommends that I should visit Costa Rica. I’m trying to eventually visit Belize and Costa Rica and Mexico, as I’m scared of what the current administration is doing to this country, and ashamed of this war.

Have you ever considered becoming a realtor in Bali? Or Brazil? You’d probably be brilliant at it, as you’re a good communicator, like to travel, and could probably work independently.

After reading your dilemma re: San Francisco vs. Bali, my opinion is this: move to Bali. You can always visit Frisco. And become a realtor while continuing your writing and photography.
