Robin--Edit the spam comments, please! Feed the blog or kill it--what you've got now devalues the brand. Good luck in 'Stambool.

I was at Bumrungrad in July, 2006. Absolutely incredible! Having lived in the US for 45 years, I was simply not prepared for having the phrase, "Customer Service" redefined for me. Don't ever stay at a Four Seasons again. Instead, go stay at this hospital!

I can confirm that the Bumrungrad hospital is awesome, I was on vacation in Bangkok last month and a hospital was the last thing on my mind. I ended up there for 7 days due to an emergency and I decided not travel back to Canada with a nurse but attend my medical issues there (an extra seven days) There was a bed waiting for me when I got there as the doctor had called from my hotel 20 mins before....
I came back to our "free" health care system and tried to book an appointment to see a specialist and was told that I would need to wait for one and a half months just to see one and a day surgery would be booked at that time.
The total cost for the seven day stay and surgery (with extremely polite medical staff at any time of the day or night) $5500.00!!
